Job Description

Arizona Central Credit Union has an exceptional opportunity for an experienced Graphic Designer. We are seeking a positive, ambitious, detail oriented individual to join our team! The position of Graphic Designer will be responsible for helping execute against the credit union’s annual marketing plan by producing high quality creative that matches our ACCU brand standards. They will also be required to actively participate in both the creation and execution of the annual marketing plan; designed to drive growth and lead our credit union to financial success.  

Summary of Job Functions and Responsibilities:

  • Apply professional graphic design principles to the creation of print literature, promotional and marketing materials, websites, mobile interface design and other graphic products.  All assets built should be directed towards driving growth and advancing the consistency of ACCU’s brand. 
  • Write excellent marketing copy with compelling calls to action.  Write compliant disclosures and competition rules. Proofread and edit both their own and other team members’ copy meticulously. 
  • Possess a solid understanding of print production processes, including digital and offset printing. Take responsibility for and be the vendor point person for any external printing needs.
  • Possess expert level skills using the entire Adobe Creative Suite of products, and an expert level knowledge of design techniques.  Display aptitude for learning new technology and new techniques that will complement the rest of the existing marketing team’s skill set.
  • Be responsible for the creation of the monthly in-branch merchandising plan, including printing, cutting, folding and distribution to the branches.
  • Be responsible for the creation of all email blasts and eNewsletters.
  • Create digital assets for paid Facebook and digital campaigns.  Assist the Marketing Project Manager in the maintenance of the external Arizona Central Credit Union website.
  • Collaborate with the VP & Chief Marketing Officer and the Marketing Project Manager in the creation of promotions and campaigns that will increase profitable membership and drive the business objectives of the credit union. 
  • Demonstrate a proven ability to handle multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.
  • Demonstrate the ability to work harmoniously and collaboratively within a team of marketers.

Work Location/Hours: Monday - Friday at our Corporate Office in Downtown Phoenix, Arizona - This is not a "work from home" position.

 

Skills / Requirements

Experience: One to three years of similar or related experience preferred.

Education: A college degree in design, marketing or a related field.

Other Skills: Excellent communication skills required. Must have great sales skills and be comfortable working in a goal-oriented environment.
